New to BYC

Hello everyone! We are new to BYC and are looking forward to starting a new adventure in raising chickens. Our girls (two Rhode Island Reds and two Speckled Sussexes) should arrive in June. We are so looking forward to raising them from chicks and having them as pets.

I should begin building my coop in April. I've been researching all the coop designs and really like the Wichita Cabin Coop, so I ordered the plans this week.

As a new member, I must say I love this website, and can't wait to learn and read more about raising chickens from all the members. If anyone has any advice for a beginner, I would most certainly welcome it.
