Hi... I just signed up but I have been using the site for a while now. We decided to get chickens a little over a year ago, and this site has been VERY helpful- so thank you to all who post! We live in a small town in MN, we have 5 children, 18 chickens
+ ----->(5 babys- 3 weeks old, and incubating now- hatching this weekend), three dogs, three cats, and two rabits. So we have our hands full, but its a good learning experience for the kids and I enjoy the chickens more than I thought I would- and the eggs :).

Glad you could join the flock! Sounds like you are very busy there!! Great to hear you have found BYC so helpful already with your chicken adventures. I too have eggs incubating at the moment but they are only day 5 so I have a little longer to wait :pop
