Hey All!

My name is Tony and here is a little bit about me.

My wife and I adopted an orphan boy 3 years ago who is now 13. We have 3 other children and are expecting our first Grandchild in Spetember!

We both work with developmentally disabled individuals. My wife manages a Day Habilitation program and I manage a group home.

We are moving to the country in less than 2 weeks, Praise God!

I do not have any chickens yet, but I would like to get 7 layers, a rooster, and 6 meat chickens.

My brother started this addiction and I have caught the fever worse than him ... I think

I am a sponge right now ..... absorbing as much info on what I will need and what I can expect ... and I am so glad to be here!

From Pennsylvania. Wait until Chicken Math kicks in. I started out wanting only 3 laying hens at the beginning of April and now (what only 2-3 weeks later) I have 12!

Enjoy them when you get them!

We are from Western New York ... the place we are moving to is zoned agricultural. Nothing around us but the farm across the street and one house (farmer's son) 'bout 500 yards away
