New to chickens and new to BYC!

Hi everyone I had a coop built, bought some chicks in April of this year. There definately has been ups and downs or should I call it learning curves. Love this forum great information so far helped answer many of my questions.

Thanks im really enjoying all the stories and posts full of information just great. New to chickens so I have lots of questions, does it depend on the breed, or do chickens generally start laying at 5 to 6 months?
