New to chickens and new to this group

Hello,

I'm new to chickens and to this group. We got 5 chicks that my brother bought us from a feed and supply store.

2 died, and my kids were devastated. So we went back and bought more to cheer the kids up. We had 9 at that point and then another 1 died.

We have 8 now. They all seem healthy. No worries about space we have 3 acres for them.​
