New to chickens from Sacramento, CA

Last year I got 6 RIRs from my grandpa and now they are about 1 year old. Just recently we got 2 BTW japanese bantams from my grandpa's evicted tenant. And 2 chickies in June a buff orpington and an ameraucana. i read so much and learned so much from BYC.

Wow. What a great adventure you have been on. Welcome. You must be one of the youngest forum members here. I'm about 30-ish and love my chickens. I can't imagine living without them. Are you RIR still laying? We had some Japenese Rosecomb Bantams when we lived in NC and the rooster we had was mean. He attacked my mother's head when she why trying to get into our house.
