Off topic question.. will my australorps go broody at this time of year?

I had an Australorp go broody last week. She's about 29 weeks.

Chickens vary, I've had chickens about 6 years and have never had one go broody.

I think it's a white plymouth rock hen. I got several of them from our feed store.

It could also be a white Leghorn, but I can't tell without seeing the tail and body shape. The face looks just like my white Rocks though!

And hens can go broody this time of year. Both of my Buff Orpingtons are broody right now and so is one of my SF's. It's like it's contagious or something.
