Hello, I am going to use the template to introduce myself. We're very new to chickens got 4 silkie chicks yesterday.. down to three already 
learning curve I guess. Going to get some savachick today. Just want to learn because we're going to be hatching some eggs with my son and I want to know my stuff by than.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to chickens, I got my first chicks yesterday!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Three
(3) What breeds do you have?
Silkies/Bantams
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The eggs and just having a unique pet.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am an eBay reseller that keeps me very busy & I just love animals
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am 35 married with a 10 year old who is on the spectrum. We have 3 dogs (small ones, two chi mixes and a toy poodle) & a cat named Jack who only have 1 eye.. We adopted them all.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I googled every chicken question and BYC kept coming up lol
