New to chickens in Michigan

Hello, my name is Carla, I live in Southwest Michiga and I just bought some chicks on Wednesday (3/6/19). I have seen this site pop up in quite a few of my Google searches so I wanted to join so that I have a great resource of others who raise chickens to go to for advice and questions.

I have 8 chicks total. 2 Barred Rock (one of which I think is a cockerel), 4 Rhode Island Red pullets, and 2 Bantams that I'm unsure of the sex or breed of.

So far I am enjoying watching the little cluckers grow. I'm very much looking forward to see them mature and start to produce eggs.
