New to chickens in Wisconsin

Hi from snowy and cold Wisconsin! I am happy to have joined BYC. I am new to chickens and have already dealt with my share of "stuff". Just saved one of my birds from death. Quit walking and legs deformed. Used vit B and St Johns Wart to save! Now fine! Also learned how Tumeric stops bleeding after I came home to blood everywhere in coop. Bird lost toe somehow. Hoping to learn more from ALL of you!

Good job at healing up your birds! There are lots of alternative medicines that do a good job at healing. I have some very bizarre concoctions in my poultry medicine cabinet that might shock most people. LOL But they work!
