Ok- so every morning I clean the shavings in the coop and get all the poop out of there. But what about the run? Ours is built on dirt in the back corner of the yard (roofed with hardware mesh, but no floor other than the ground)- what's the best way to clean it and how often? Thank you!!

I do a light rake job with a plastic rake a couple days a week, Just enough to glide over the sawdust a grab the poop. The uncovered section of run is pellets that have compacted already and I just rake a pile of poop up and shovel into a bucket. The covered portion is still grassy but dead, dry dirt and small straw/hay bedding. I drop it in piles and put extras so they have something to do and kick around. Pictures were today after a clean. I didn’t put all their clutter back in yet, I got rid of a few things to replace this weekend. People always ask about the lights in the run, they are on a timer. They come on at 4am and turn off at 8am. Chickens leave coop within 10 minutes of light coming on.
