Hello! I browsed this community when doing research before getting my chickens, but now that I have my own, I decided to join! I bought 6 chicks (supposed to be all pullets) from Rural King this week. I am supposed to have 2 Golden comets, 2 Ameraucaunas (I suspect EE), and 2 Sapphire Gems. No matter what they are, I’m loving this new adventure!

I see two golden comets, an ee and the blue and black ones are likely the saphires.

The other EE must be under the eco Glow?

You will have very pretty eggs from them!

Actually, the darkest one is my other EE. It is hard to get a picture of all of them at the same time! My other sapphire is under the Eco Glow. Here is a picture with her in it. She’s a little darker than her sister, but has the white tipped wings.

I had a couple of black hens that were OEs! Olive eggers and they laid very pretty dark green eggs.

The Saphire gems sound like a very nice breed
