New to chickens

Hello from Nebraska!

In my classroom, I hatched my chickens with my class. This year we did not have a great turn out so I thought it would be a perfect time to take the chickens home. I had ten chickens but now I’m down to 9. This is will be a great learning experience for next year when I have to hatch them in my class. I can tell them all about chickens. Excited there is a place to go and ask questions and learn.

Do you *have* to hatch them every Year? If the distriqt requires it, I advise making them ensure that there is a proper and backup person to take them, and ensuring your Students know this.
