We have chickens at our barn and we notice that our rooster was picking on one of our hens. She may be blind now. One eye is closed all the time and the other at times looks like she can’t see. We brought her home yesterday and she thanked us with an eggs this morning. She is her Rode Island Red.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. I would get rid of that rooster. Unless you need fertile eggs for hatching or to sell, there is no good reason to have a rooster. Hens will lay just as many eggs without one and be much less stressed.
