New to chickens

Hi! I'm Jon and I'm new to chickens. I live in a suburb of the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. We have 8 chickens that we got as chicks. I wanted breeds that were hardy, relatively friendly, relatively docile, and good layers with a few mixed in for looks.

I got one each of: australorp, barred rock, buff orpington, easter-egger, golden comet, , golden polish, golden laced wyandotte, and partridge cochin.
They're about 5 weeks old now and have grown so much.

I'm excited to learn more and for the eggs. Thank you for this forum!
