Hi all, I'm in England, UK and am new to chickens but it's been a dream for years. Just got two Gingernut Ranger pullets from a local poultry farm, about 18 weeks old and so far so good. We've had them for a week now and they seem happy enough. One is quite vocal and will chat away happily when I let them out of the coop in the morning whereas the other seems more quiet and seems to try to sleep standing up in the bottom corner of the run. Both are eating and drinking fine and loving the rain we have at the minute which is lucky for them I guess!?! Just finished reading "Raising chickens for dummies" and am looking forward hopefully in theory to our first eggs.
