Hello everyone. I have been using BYC for a couple of years as a resource but we have just moved to East TN and got a new flock going. We have 8 hens (3 RIR, 1 barred rock, 3 mixed and 1 brahma), 1 pekin duck hen, 3 goats, 2 rabbits and 2 dogs. We want to start raising chicks for food but I am having second thoughts with the troubles we have been having just keeping what we have in good health. We range the chickens, duck and goats in the same 2-3 acre fenced pasture. Our brahma thinks its a duck and only hangs out with the pekin. They are never more than a couple feet apart.
