Hi! I have an established mixed flock of 9 hens and 1 roo, and 3 Bourbon Red turkeys. I also have brooders going with 25 cornish cx, 15 LF chicks, and 4 turkey poults. I have decided to take the plunge and start a bucket of fermented feed.
Here are my questions:
Do I need separate buckets? One for the chicks/poults and one for the mature birds?
How much feed do I even start with? I was thinking of 1/2 of a 5 gallon bucket. We free feed crumbles at this point and I really have no idea how much is eaten each day.
