I just purchased two baby snow call duck male and female. I atleast t made a 4ft wide by 6 ft long pen in the barn which they will stay in know and through the winter. I will be making a outdoor enclosure next year. We have to many predators and they must be fenced. My wuestion is how many can you keep in that size enclosure?

Seconed question is i would like to get two pekin ducks young and in barn seperate pen of course. What size enclosure would i need for winter and what is cost of feed or how much do they eat? I am on farm land with lots of natural ponds i was hopingi could have them loose.

I like the small ducks and they are more profitable to sell atleast break even in cost of care but i really like the looks and personality of the pekins im just not sure how much they will cost to keep.

I love and treat all my animals well but have to break even or make a bit of money. Any info is greatly apreciated.

You're probably safe with keeping 4 of them in there. Just make sure the stall is completely enclosed because I did that with chickens before and a raccoon scaled the wall and killed them all. And I have 4 muscovy ducks and they eat about 8 dollars worth of feed a month if that but I also have them free ranging more.

I have lots of golfish fry in my big pond would they be a good treat to feed to my call ducks or any ducks?

Oh they would love it I out minnows in my pool I have for my ducks and they will devour them. Everything in moderation though
