Hi I'm new to hatching. This is my second go at hatching after a complete failure first time round. Mainly because I think my incubator has been cooking my eggs.
So even if your experienced hatcher or new as well, would love some Buddies as the title says.
I live in England and have a small flock of birds. Looking to expand with some variety. But I currently have 4 hens that are Nero/Rhodes and I'm sure are also crossed with Leghorn because of the feathers. I also have 1 cochin Bantam Hen and 2 cochin Bantam Roosters. I have had birds and ducks for years, so have lots of experience there.
Currently I'm entering Day 4 and have 34 eggs Set. My incubator is doing my head in as I can't keep the lid on properly. I have to keep it to and angle but yesterday after 2 days of trying to keep temps down I decided to candle my cochin eggs and two fantastically had a heart beat. So I'm now totally attached.
And very Nervous. Something is going to go wrong
