New to hatching!

Hello! I have ducks and chicken eggs in my incubator currently. So far we have lost two duck eggs due to a bad smell and two chicken eggs due to leaking some fluids. Is it something I’m doing or does that just happen sometimes??

I don't know much about incubating sorry...incubating is tricky though and sometimes things like this just happen. Good luck hope someone else knows more about incubating and can help you.

Thank you for the help! I did check my eggs just now and I have three duck eggs with movement so that was a nice sight!
