Today I bought my first incubator for $25 at a yard sale and it was only used once. It is a Little Giant Still Air incubator. It also came with an egg turner. This is my first incubator that doesn't cluck so I've never used one before. The problem with the incubator is that one of the windows is gone. It's supposed to have two windows. Is there anything that I can use to cover that spot where it wouldn't lose humidity or temperature? Also how do you run it? As I said, it doesn't cluck.

you could get a picture frame from a dollar store and tape it in place possibly.

there should be a plug. one for the incubator and one for the turner.

and once the incubator is plugged in. there should be some buttons to adjust the temperature.

here is an instruction manual (although I wouldn't follow the humidity instructions myself)

Can you replace the window using a piece of plexi or glass from a picture frame maybe? Secure with hot glue or duct tape or caulking.

I’ve never used a store bought incubator, I’m sure someone else will chime in with helpful advise :)

I've always used a Buff Orpington as an incubator :)

My first incubator was a gifted crappy LG I had to refurbish. It was missing windows and I had glass cut to fit at the hardware store for a couple bucks.
The temperature controller is very finicky on a LG. Start it up and let it sit for a day, then adjust and let it sit for another day, etc..
