We live in Matthews, NC on 4 wooded acres. We have pygmy goats, German Shepherds, Cats, Four Honey Bee hives, 100+ Japanese Koi... and God only knows what else under the 'natural' category. Raccoon, Opossum, White Tail Deer, rabbits, Copperheads and Cotton Mouths, Coyotes and Red foxes. I am just finishing our Chicken Tractor and we already have six pullets anticipating their new digs.
Building the coop with my eight year old granddaughter has been a blessing! I am sure we will have a bunch of questions as time goes by. For now I'll just say it's great to have a community to fall back on when necessary.
