New to quail

Just got my first quail yesterday (10 Coturnix). I am very excited. My guess is they are about five or six weeks old. I will post pics soon!

Well...Welcome to the addiction!

5-6 week old coturnix are pretty much "GROWN"...so you missed the brooder thing.

You must post pictures! It is required!

run away while you still can! they are addicting. I started with 5, then set 18 eggs to hatch, got 12 more....now i'm setting close to 70 <_<.

That sounds familiar! Started with 4, got 6 more, hatched 35 more...soon I will have empty brooders and and empty bator.

The 35 are all named "Dinner" but the spots on the ones that have cool coloring are starting to form the words "Breeder" as they get older.

Hmm...I need more cages.
