Hello BYC!
This is my first thread... and first attempt at a backyard coop.
I am moving to Quebec City in July. Charlesbourg area across from Lac Saint-Charles. At this point I am planning to have 6 hens. They need to be able to stand our nice winters lol. So far I am leaning towards two of each of, Ameraucana, Brahma, and Rhode Island. I have also considered Orpingtons. I would also like the to be somewhat friendly/docile, able to handle confinement at times, and again, able to handle the cold. I also looking for hatcheries/breeders in the area and so far not a whole lot of luck.
If anyone has any suggestions or info it would be greatly appreciated
