Hi, sooo, I acquired a couple of Silkie hens a few weeks ago. I have the coop all set up and the wife is feeding them like she does everything else in the house. Lol not an under weight body in our house.
Actually got the hens on the reccomendation of my daughter's therapist to help with texture sensory issues. Being as I'm a mechanic by trade I have little knowledge regarding chickens, out side of preferred recipes ;-). No these birds will not be cooked, they are a 3 year olds pets.
