Hi my name is Claire and this is my first year raising chickens and ducklings. I have 10 2 week old Rhode Island Red Chicks and 2 1 week old ducklings that I am raising together. We are still working on making our coop predator safe. We live in the mountains of Central PA so it's still fairly cool here. We have 10 acres. We placed the coop in the center of a 10 foot dog kennel for night protection. The ducks have an area at the bottom for sleeping and shelter.
We have 3 small dogs and 2 cats. Since we are retired we have time for gardening, an orchard and the animals.
