My son Henry's preschool class hatched eggs at the end of april and he volunteered us to take them home

. So we built a coop and have the basics covered- I think. We have three adorable new pets that get snuggled, loved, and toted around by a 5 year old! I have no idea what kind they are or if they are hens or roosters...

I sense you are surprised at how interesting and personable chickens are.... as was I, when I first got mine. Each bird has an individual personality. Never would have thought that. Even in my fairly large flock, it is true.
