Hi I have 4 chicks red rock breed I believe they r older than what I was told as I got them on Mother's Day and they have feathers already. Just built a chicken coup but not sure when I can put them outside any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

If you mean they are fully feathered out, they can go outside.

Welcome to BYC!

It is best to wait until they are fully feathered which is usually around 6 weeks old. But if you are in doubt about their age, wait another week just to be sure. Have you stopped by our learning center yet? Lots of good articles on all the aspects of keeping poultry....

Enjoy your new babies and welcome to our flock!

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! You've gotten some good advice above about your chicks, you could also post pictures if you want some input into how old people think they are.
