Longtime lurker. Have owned a sportsman incubator and hatcher for several years now. Lets just say we've hatched out a bunch of stuff just to see what it would look like. Pretty big into the swap circuit, but mainly keep a flock of something for eggs and a pen of something for the freezer. Can't pass up the hatchery specials either! Or the farm store grab bin! Right now there are turkey poults in a brooder in my living room. (brooder house is full of guineas, auxiliary brooder house is full of a few oegs and a bunch of maran x penedesenca x welsummer crosses, and some olive eggers and some cochins. I guess I have come to the right place. My lovely wife feeds them all of course, I just look at pictures of chickens and fill the incubator. (Better go feed for a change, in case she reads this.) She is my enabler!
