New to the chicken world

Im no stranger to agriculture, but Chickens is something new for me. We just put together a small coop suitable for 8 - 10 layer hens. Hoping to pick up some birds later today. Looking forward to gleaning form all the experience posted on this site, and hopefully in a few years I'll be able to share some of my knowledge gleaned from the mistakes I've made ....... cheers
