Hello all chicken Moms and Pops! : ) Just wanted to say HELLO and tell you what a wonderful community I think this is! I have found many, many responses to other people that was eye opening and informative to me. I currently have about 50 chickens ranging in age from 4 years to 1 day old; Black Copper Marans, Jersey Giants, EE, OE, Seabrights, Rhode Island Red, and a single Japanese bantam. I just learned about hatching fertile eggs in an incubator a few months ago and my husband says I have gone wild!! We just spent the Labor Day wknd building coops and a new brooder box! YAY!! Anyway, I look forward to the conversations and all the terrific insight you long timers have to share.
