thank you so much! we started very small 5 years ago with 3 hens, that we inherited from someone who could not keep them. a barred rock, Penny, buff orpington Lucy, and a red sex link Izzy (who sadly passed away in April of this year)

we also just recently acquired 2 1 year old cream crested legbars

we also have 4 new chicks which I am still trying to identify the breeds

Likely someone will help you with the breed ID's - but often they need to be a littler older.

The bottom photo of the barred chick looks like my BR's did at that age, but several breeds with barring look the same to me

Welcome to Backyard chickens. When your chicks are 6-8 weeks old, you can post photos of them at "what breed or gender is this," Please mention their age in photos - as it make a big difference in rendering opinions.
