Hi everyone! We started on our backyard chicken adventure this past April. We started with six and lost one to a neighbor dog leaving five, so we got two more. I’m catching onto the chicken mass pretty quickly. I can’t believe how rewarding it is. Looking forward to learning and sharing!

Yes chicken math is real and people don't understand ... until they do. My boyfriend has been telling me for a year that i don't need anymore chickens (basically every time i came home with more he'd say it). But in a odd twist i'm now having to tell him that we're at capacity.

He keeps coming up with ideas and new spaces. If we do this we can double the amount we have or this and we can get this etc.... literally just had this conversation with him this morning lmao.

Chicken keeping is a rollercoaster that i don't want to get off of...i hope you enjoy yours as much as i do mine.
