Hello everyone!
I am a newbie to the chicken world (and BYC) from Nova Scotia, Canada and I am already a chicken addict!!! My boyfriend has even started calling me the crazy chicken lady...I told him it was better than being the crazy cat lady, haha! I built a coop and adopted two sets of chickens from different parts of the province and now have a total of 8 birds of a few different kinds. I am having a lot of fun with them and am already planning on a few more in the the spring.
It's been an amazing (and sometimes heart breaking experience) over the last few months but I love every minute of it. If you're interested, I also started a blog a few weeks ago at flockthislife.blogspot.ca that chronicles a few of the experiences/stories over the past little while and I try to update it at about once a week or so, hope you like it!
