(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Hi,
We had 4 hens and 2 ducks when I was a kid way back in the last century.
I don't have any now, but am exploring what is possible where I live based on county rules.
My plan is to have a flock for eggs at the outset, and maybe meat later.
I am married with two older children and we have 2 dogs and several cats.
I found BYC through queries to online guardian Google.
