Hello All!
Thanks for the info on the eggs and the warm welcome to the forum.


I pet my golden comets every night when I close up the coop. They come a runnin' when they hear my or my wife's voice every day. Now they sort of spread their wings and hunker down for me to pick them up whenever I bend over to them. They are so great! Who would ever think you could get so attached to CHICKENS! Well, I am, and look forward to saying say goodnite to my girls every night!


We are having fun here in northwestern Pa.

Got 6eggs today out of 10, and it seems I have a later layer that shares her gifts in the afternoon---so today it could be 7!
