should I clip my ducks wings

thanks for having me.
My name is Mandy. I live in Tracy, Ca. I have 20 chickens. And just got 7 chicks, 3 Rhode Island Reds and 4 of the black and white striped ones. I forgot their name.
And I just got 4 ducklings. They are about 5 weeks now. (my first time) 3 female Mallards and one white one. Didn't realize they were so super messy. But cute and very timid. I wish they would love me. They are always scared.
 
Welcome to Backyard Chickens Mandy, thank you for joining the flock. I don't think ducks get as friendly as chicks with socializing. If you go to the forums above, scroll down to

Some say ducks are more friendly than chickens but that may depend on breed. So cute. I would not clip wings unless yours are too flighty since they are mallards. Most domesticated duck are land lubbers and will not fly off. Some mallards may. :):welcome
