Me too! We got our first in late February early March and then I had it on and on and on and on. Lol. I had 15 eggs in our incubator unfortunately the first one was dead in the shell, we just had our first successful hatch and this is our third egg so I guess the third time really is the charm! Except given the markings and The feathered feet it has to be one of the silkies eggs but I'm not sure who the father is because it may have been crossbred with our Easter egger rooster! I know we're not supposed to open the incubator when they're fluffing but the humidity was a little on the high side. I'm still trying to reduce it to below 70%.Hi!! This is my first time ever hatching and raising chicks! I grew up on a ranch but chickens are new to me! I’m so egg-cited to hatch my first set of silkies! I’m looking forward to all the great tips and advice on this fun new journey to my dream homestead!!![]()
