Hi Everyone, I am new to the chicken world. These chicks are all 9 weeks. Can anyone help identify the gender yet?
1. white silkie show girl
2. black silkie
3. fawn silkie (i think)
4. black silkie show girl
5 white silkie on left
6 white silkie on right
7 black sex link
8 black sex link
9 easter egger (rooster?)
10. easter egger

Silkies are extremely hard to sex before 4-5 mos. of age, some not until they lay an egg or crow. I wouldn't even venture a guess at this age. You may want to post photos on the "Silkie Thread," or "Showgirl" thread to see what others think
 
What you can do to tell if they are a girl or boy is look at the size of their combs and their size in general. You can also look at their tales but with silkies I guess it's just one big poof of fluff.

It is too early to really determine gender on the Silkies and Showgirls. However, I'm not seeing any obvious rooster signs in them. But, the bird in the second photo from the bottom(the Easter Egger) looks like a cockerel, and the last bird might be one too. Your Black Sex-Links are definitely females.
