New to this, advice PLEASE!

I woke up this morning and had an egg that had pipped and the chick was peeping (we’re on day 20), there was no more water in the incubator so I had to quickly remove the lid and refill the pan. After I did that the chick in the egg stopped peeping. Should I be worried?

I would play baby chick noises on a loop. It really motivates them.

I wouldn’t. It takes an exorbitant amount of energy to hatch; it’s normal to see long breaks between escape attempts.
