Hola!
My name is Nikol
I never owned chickens before, I grew up with my grandma owning a rooster. We recently took in an young (6 mo) abandoned white Silkie Rooster "Roo Hefner". A week after that my Sister in-law brought me one of her year old French Copper Maran hens tag #007 we named her Honey Ryder. Week and a half after getting her we were given a Egyptian Fayoumi hen (less then a year old) who's name is Cleopatra. With the international house of chickens on my hands I asked my brother for books he recommended and he told me about this website. I'm a cancer surviver, mother of four: 3 boys 1 girl ages 18-4. We live in the PNW and have always loved animals we have 2 Cats, 2 Chihuahua's (ESP) and two Zebra Finches.
Looking forward to chatting with everyone!
