I stumbled upon this site and found it absolutely amazing and i'm so glad to have joined. It's great for me since have recently become owner to five great little chickens and can't wait for them to grow up. Excited new chicken owner. Much Love from Texas

I also have a small flock..of six. I used to hatch, can't believe I finally stopped, I was a hathaholic for sure. I'm done with that after having done it for three yrs..well, a little over that. I love the baby chicks. Sold most of my incubators, but kept one.

Need one actually for a back up if one of my hens give up on her eggs. I don't have a rooster, but I can get eggs from friends to stick under a broody hen.

So glad you joined us. BYC is my second favorite pastime…first is my flock of 6 hens!
Watching them grow up is amazing, but they stay amazing even when grown!
