New to this site, but not new to chickens

Hi everyone, I’m Elisabeth

My family has kept chickens since I was very young, but I got my own little flock last year when I turned 16 (yes, I asked for chickens for my sweet 16);
A flock of silkies that are a little over a year old now. I let one of my broody silkies hatch a chick a while back, and now that chick is all grown up and sitting on her own eggs that will hatch in April.
If all goes according to plan, I will have 5 new additions to my silkie flock on Easter Sunday!

All of my chicken questions end up leading me to this site, so I thought it was time to join.
