Like I said, I am new to wall framing. Does this look right? If I decide to combine those 2 windows, would I be ok with no center stud? The top horizontal stud will be doubled up. Thanks

If that is a load-bearing wall you can't just eliminate those studs. If you want to remove them and put one larger window in you have to put in a properly sized header over the top of the window. And doubling up a 2x4 is not going to cut it. You'd want at least to doubled up 2x6 depending on the span.

What structure are you framing for? Is it part of a house in which you need to follow code and be sure it will hold the weight of the roof, or is this a wall of a chicken coop that just needs to be solid (enough)?

Unnecessary for under 4' span

Not on a load bearing wall.
I didn't see the dimensions at the top of sketch on my phone screen. Looks like the framing is being set at 2 foot on center. The span on that wall if it's load bearing could get away with a single 2x6 header with a 2x4 cripple stud centered over it to distribute the weight. But it also depends on how wide the span of the roof, it's pitch, what the roofing material is and what the snow load is in the area if any.
