new turkey chicks, any advice?

we just got 4 meat turkey chick for fair and it is also our first time doing turkeys, anything we should know or do for them?
I all ready gave them a white heat lamp cause i know that they cant see very good, and i put paper towel over the shavings cause i've heard they can be pretty stupid and eat the shavings.
any advice?

I don't know where you got this idea, turkeys have really good eyesight.
