Hi, my husband and just moved from LA to Wisconsin and bought a hobby farm . We are cleaning the place up, but did manage to start our animal collection with a dozen chickens. Never done this before, have found this site very helpful with all my goofy newbie questions! :)

Wow, LA to Wisconsin...that's quite a change...and might I add "for the better". Welcome, welcome Jirato. So glad you joined BYC and just so you know we have a lot of goofy people on here (both newbies and oldies) :lau. If ya get a chance post some pics of your babies so we can oooh and aaah....and keep us up to date on your hobby farm and the progress you're making. Most importantly make sure where you babies are that their coop/run is tight as Fort Knox cause I'm guessin Wisconsin has a host of predators that would love a chicken dinner.
