[BArb lamb]

I am new to chickens. I have 14 baby Cochins. 7 blue 7 partridge. They will be a week old Sunday. My name is barb lamb. Right now my biggest question is how to get rid of poopy butts. I read it can be caused by stress. Cleaning them up stresses them. Not all of them have it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi Barb and welcome. This is going to sound gross but I hold the chick backwards in my hand and wet my fingers under the faucet. Just gently rub at it and it starts to dissolve. I usually have to keep checking for a couple of days if it happens again.
