Hello! This is Andrea from Michigan. We’ve had chickens for 6 years now, from 6 to now we have 17. I’ve been to this site before and love it! We got the girls for eggs, my son and husband eat them daily. We mostly free range in our 3/4 acre yard, and shut them up at night in a coop with a covered run. ( we lost a few to hawks)
We have a small dog and cat who try to play, but usually ignore them.
We have 1 6yr old leghorn, and cinnamon queen. 4 year olds superblue, jersey giant, Easter egger, buff Orpington, lavender orpington, salmon favorelle, and buff brama, 2 1yr old barred rock, white brama, 2 jersey giants. New babies, 2 buff orpingtons, and a silver-laced wyandott.
