Hi guys! New to the forum, but not chickens!
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Not new, got first round in 2021.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 30 layers, and raise 50-100 meat chickens a year.
(3) What breeds do you have?
A whole mix of them.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The food freedom.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Carpentry, knitting, gardening
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
It’s just myself, one dog, one rabbit and 2 cats! I don’t currently work. I am young and had a change of life so trying to figure out this next season.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I’ve read posts on here about other topics when I google stuff.
